In Alexandria, Va, and nearby Beverly Hills, extensive use was made of soil cement for reconstruction of streets in residential quarters; roadway soils were mixed with cement in proportions varying from 10 to 12% by volume; heavy duty mixed-in-place equipment was utilized; satisfactory results are reported.
