Port and Harbour Fenders, Ltd, formed for further development and design of new types of energy absorbing fenders and dolphins, described and illustrated; main element of fender is heavy weight unit suspended from side of dock; bell dolphin is resilient structure obtained by mounting heavy rotating bell shaped cap so as to roll about crown of fixed head of piled dolphin.
