Exploration of Bourbon Magnetic Anomaly, Crawford County, Missouri
Magnetic surveys in 1931 and 1932 disclosed large positive anomaly about mile south of Bourbon, Mo; to determine character of material that caused anomaly, Bureau of Mines drilled four holes; magnetite in rhyolite porphyry was encountered at 1600 to 2000 ft; general geology; geophysical investigation; analyses; ore treatment tests; magnetic separation.
