Why we need better inspection on construction
Inspection on construction can be improved by increasing pay rates to attract more competent and reliable men, some formal training, specifications written only for particular job and legislation leading to registration of inspectors as well as fixing greater responsibility on engineers in charge; some cities now have regulations concerning inspection but no state yet has undertaken to qualify non-professional supervisors.
