Method used by Japanese in construction of concrete shelters for baka bombs or miniature hangars, without use of forms; along side-hill cuts, small areas were stripped and earth was shaped to desired curvature for invert of shelter's arched roof while trenches were dug around this for sidewalls; concrete was poured into trenches and over curved surface; when hardened, enclosed earth was excavated.
