Method consists of mixing polytetrafluoroethylene particles with trifluorovinyl chloride to form gel; calendering resulting mixture to produce more homogeneous mass, forming articles from gel, dipping formed articles into solvent which dissolves trifluorovinyl chloride to reduce gel to solid, and then sintering articles in furnace at temperature which is in excess of 300 C.
