Eccentrically loaded long piles
Study of behavior of eccentrically loaded long piles (or columns) of reinforced concrete; general inelastic analysis was developed and applied to circular, square, and octagonal cross sections, for both solid members and those having hollow circular core; analysis was programmed for IBM 1620 computer using FORTRAN; 24 general cases are presented in form of graphs; these graphs were used to evaluate ultimate loads and to study effect of variables on ultimate loads.
