Applications of artificial vibration, consisting essentially of inducing vibrations in structure to be tested, by means of oscillator attached directly to it, and observing energy consumed by oscillator at various frequencies of vibration; arrangement of equipment for bending and direct stress tests; manner of plotting test data; effect of age on resonance period; average dynamic properties of various vibrating systems.
