Hydraulic performance comparison of centrifugal pumps
Specific speed deviation method is introduced to simplify comparison of capacity, head, rotative speed, efficiency, and related performance curves for different pumps; method is based on specific speed criterion, and compares designed operation point of pump with its best efficiency point, expressing it in form of deviation parameter; group of seven pumps is analyzed and evaluated to show use of method.
