Governing differential equations for nonrotationally symmetrical bending of isotropic circular sandwich plates are developed by means of variational theorem; face layers are considered as membranes but made of different materials and unequal thickness; using fourth order and second order differential equations, three conditions are satisfied on edge of plate instead of only two; simply-supported circular sandwich plate under linearly varying load is presented as example to illustrate use of these equations.
