Screening of sinter at blast furnaces
Effectiveness of screening sinter under blast furnace bunkers can be raised by increasing number of screens working simultaneously and time for which they are switched on, and also by reducing thickness of layer of sinter on screen; it is essential to prevent sinter falling from great height and to improve design of arrangements for protection from dust. (see also English translation in Stal in English n 6 June 1964 p 433)
