Settling building wall rebuilt to eliminate underpinning
Settled wall of two-story factory building was rebuilt of light weight materials, thus relieving foundations of load; former unit pressure on bottom of foundation was reduced from two tons per sq ft to one half ton; new wall consists of vertical, nailable 12 ga steel studs faced on both sides with asbestos cement boards.
