Deposit is 17 mi east of Gadsden; thin veinlets and small bunches of fluorite in upturned beds of siliceous limestone; or bearing structure is reverse fold, and deposit is replacement along crumpled zone fractures of contorted limestone; general study of area; dewatering and cleaning debris from mine workings; excavating new trenches to bedrock; retimbering and sinking existing shaft; details of factual data obtained.
