Salvage and reconstruction of large tin Dredge
During war period five large capacity electrically driven dredges of Anglo-Oriental (Malaya) Ltd were immobilized by removal of essential parts of equipment before districts were evacuated, but plants were not destroyed; one of dredges, No. 2 Dredge, owned by Kuala Kampar Tin Fields Ltd, was found capsized in large pond; dredge had turned over and was lying with starboard side of pontoon resting on bottom; methods and equipment used in salvaging and reconditioning dredge.
