Concrete stoplogs stop Colorado River at Davis dam
At Davis Dam, closure of Colorado River was made with 204 concrete stoplogs 24 × 30 in. and 13 1/2 ft long, placed in six sluiceways left in two of three spillway bays; each stoplog weighed about 6 tons and was fitted with seals on both bottom and top faces; illustrated description of hauling and placing logs.
