Inflatable rubber tubes
Rubber tubes can be used advantageously for forming holes in concrete; when inflated they form round holes of 1 to 3 in. diam; tubes are placed in forms and inflated by air pump at pressure of from 40 lb to 70 psi; concrete is then placed, and when it has hardened sufficiently tube is deflated and withdrawn; successful application to prestressed concrete; tube now made in England has trade name "Ductube".
