Canada's first aluminum bridge built at Arvida
Bridge consists of main span which is fixed parabolic arch, 290-ft span and 47 1/2-ft rise, and five 20-ft continuous girder approach spans at each end; 24-ft roadway having 2 1/2-in. bituminous wearing surface is supported by 8-in. concrete slab reinforced in two directions; two 4-ft sidewalks are of precast concrete; data on material, loads and stresses.
