New tool saves time, cuts costs
Device, developed by B.SEARS and P.CRAIG, enables laying of masonry products without leveling, measuring or checking after original layout, thus providing means by which overall costs may be stabilized; it consists of foundation bracket to which is attached 14-ft story pole; pole, keyed to masonry courses, is held vertically by two adjustable guy struts; traveling carriage and arm assembly moves vertically on story pole by intervals corresponding to height of masonry course.
