Description of specially constructed hospital therapy installation for 400 kv, 10 ma; in contrast to construction usually employed for this voltage, anode of X-ray tube is grounded; focus, which is source of X-rays, is situated at end of long, grounded metal tube which projects from high voltage chamber through partition into irradiation chamber, thereby affording safety; cathode and focus of tube are about 1.80 m apart.
