A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Experimental observations on grouting sands and gravels
Underground freshwater in Baltimore, Md, became contaminated by salt water that infiltrated into wells; illustrated report on laboratory research to provide data on use of cement slurries to prevent contamination; effect depends on permeability of surrounding formation; there is no blanket rule for selection of slurry concentration.
