Base of tower consists of heavily reinforced concrete slab; shell, 14 in. thick, rises from ring beam to height of 236 ft over pond floor; maximum diam at base is 175 ft 4 in.; data on scaffolding, forms and precast cooling stack; tower is designed to cool 1,800,000 gal per hr from 80 to 70 F.
