Chicago and North Western, at fraction of replacement cost, has transformed two buildings built in 1866 at Chadron, Neb, into neat, trim structures; aluminum siding with bright gray bakelite finish now covers exterior from window sill height to eaves; roof is of green colored slate surfaced asphalt shingles.
