Exploration of reward (Vekol) zinc deposit Pinal County, Arizona
Old property in southwestern Pinal County, 26 mi from Casa Grande; mining was begun in early 1880's and continued intermittently to about 1917; about 400,000 lb of copper was produced from northeastern part of property; this ore was mined out; Bureau's work was limited to zinc belt, 2,700 ft long, and drill holes were grouped in three areas where outcrops and underground workings indicated that commercial ore bodies might be found.
