Europe's longest suspension bridge
Seven bridge construction, authorized by British Minister of Transport, will be third largest suspension bridge in world; center span 3300 ft, and two side spans, each 1000 ft; concrete anchorages each 250 ft long by 130 ft wide, and concrete piers 200 ft long by 60 ft wide; steel towers will rise to height of 480 ft above high water.
