Main line bottleneck at East Pittsburgh, Pa, eliminated and other problems solved by track changes involving extensive new bridging with unusual features; new Brinton bridge is 204-ft single span, through truss structure of Warren type; new low grade viaduct, 1601 ft in length, is of deck girder, with 19 spans supported on concrete piers and abutments; other structures described.
