Calculation of sinter mix for fully fluxed sinter
New method of calculation described; for producing low manganese pig iron, system of 3 equations with 3 unknowns is solved while in production of pig iron with normal manganese content (with addition of manganese ore to sinter mix) system has 4 equations, but for simplicity in calculation it is more convenient to work out consumption of manganese ore separately and introduce appropriate corrections into balance equations. (see also English translation in Stal in English n 8 Aug 1963 p 598-602)
