New interchange at Lofthouse, will have traffic at 3 levels; bridge carrying one highway will be 4-span reinforced concrete multicell box girder, each span simply supported on reinforced concrete piers; 8 slip roads are taken from highways and alinked at third and uppermost level by 800-ft-diam ring road carried over 2 highways on 4 bridges; system is complete interchange with traffic able to select any road or go back along original approach roadway.
