Efforts to produce white ground coat were near success when 1-coat white enamel became aim instead; with titanium-white enamels, it was possible to produce very good white surface in one application on ground enamel containing cobalt, thus reducing thickness from 0.6 mm to 0.2-0.3 mm, and certain special steels are also used; this reduces thickness to 0.1-0.15 mm; several enamel formulas, and also preparation methods, are discussed.
