Edison's Idea Center is separate but working portion of Detroit Edison building where architects, consulting engineers and contractors may check out ideas for office lighting, office furniture designs, office work layout and integration of lighting, heating and cooling; heating for entire area is from lighting, air handling is integrated with lighting equipment; air cooling is required year round; few of designs which may be examined, under working conditions, are illustrated, such as small private office, executive office, windowless office, drafting area, etc.
