A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Preliminary results of investigation of gaseous ammonia nitrogen losses induced by surface turbulence in rivers and streams are presented and potential significance of this method of nitrogen loss in reducing fertilization of downstream receiving waters is described; rate constants for ammonia nitrogen loss are given and variation of these constants with pH and temperature is indicated. (17039)
