Planning and construction of ventilating systems for new acoustics laboratory
Ventilating system of acoustics laboratory of new Danish Technical University with precautions taken with regard to possible noise sources in surroundings of or in buildings belonging to laboratory; sound-absorbing lining in air-ducts connected to inlets was used; lining was specially designed for good attenuation at low frequencies; it is of mineral wool of density about 30kg/cu m, covered with 1mm aluminum sheet, 20% perforated; ventilating system in electro-acoustics department was designed so that it might be used also when measurements were going on in anechoic chambers.
