Sway subassemblage analysis for unbraced frames
Theoretical basis for approximate method of analysis which can be used to determine sway deflection at working load level of combined loads; it is particularly applicable to middle and lower stories of unbraced frame where additional overturning moments become significant; method is based on concept of sway subassemblages and uses directly results of studies of restrained columns permitted to sway.
