Condenser unit for turboalternator; on new type condenser described, enclosure consisting of reinforced or prestressed concrete shells and uprights is integral part of structure and serves at same time as support of turboalternator; problems posed by design and construction of this system relate to leakproofing and chemical protection of enclosure, dynamic behavior of structure and its instantaneous deformations caused by different temperatures to which it is subjected, duration of load application, and tolerances with respect to deformations of shafting line.
