1966 International conference on load lines
Stated primary aims of paper are to outline reasons for calling of such Conference, to indicate philosophy underlying changes which have been made, and to highlight some of arguments which were adduced in debating contentious matters; several technical proposals rejected by Conference are discussed and it is suggested how some of these might merit future consideration in interests of simplification of load lines calculation; principal differences between technical requirements of 1930 and 1966 Load Line Conventions are tabulated.
