Optimization of ion flotation of dichromate
Data obtained with pilot-plant scale, dissolved-air ion flotation unit, are subjected to multiple regression analysis; accurate equations relate fractional flotation of dichromate and of surfactant and enrichment ratio for dichromate to five independent variables; prime advantage of process is concentration of chromium in small liquid volume, less than 1% of feed.
