Graphical method of synthesizing hydrographs of daily mean stream flow from precipitation records is described; method requires determination of mean depth of daily precipitation over drainage basin, determination of precipitation excess, determination of time distribution of each increment of storm runoff, and determination of amount of base flow that should be added to direct runoff to give to total flow.
