Runoff hydrographs for mathematical watershed model
Mathematical model of channel system of 21.35-sq mi watershed; partial-differential equations of momentum and continuity were expressed in finite difference form, and used to route unsteady flow through channel system, yielding outflow hydrographs; rainfall excess in various rates and durations was used as input to model; hydrologic time parameters evaluated from model output varied with supply rate; peak-flow rates showed nonlinear relationship to runoff amount for given duration.
