Revaluation of triaxial testing of remolded soils and pavement design methods
Study revaluates Texas Triaxial Testing and Design method for remolded soils as used by Louisiana Department of Highways to design flexible pavements; number of samples were tested and results were studied by making use of time-motion studies and computers; it was found that to overcome discrepancies in moisture and initial stress distribution, and to eliminate undetected friction losses, certain modifications were necessary.
