Tests of additives for reducing shrinkage and cracking of concrete; tests were carried out to improve shrink-age behavior, cracking tendency, and strengths of mortars by means of admixtures of latex, iron powder, and gypsum in con-junction with overburned lime; two or three latex samples used in tests produced definite improvement in resistance of mortar to cracking when quantities up to 20% were added.
