Joints of prefabricated reinforced concrete columns of multistory buildings
Method developed at Central Scientific Research Institute of Industrial Buildings, USSR, consists of reinforcing joint with short lengths of steel rods placed perpendicular to joint in triangular recesses at each column corner; obtained joint is said to be strong enough to eliminate need for metal bands presently used.
