Flocculation of selected clays by various electrolytes
Flocculation behavior of clay specimens from altered basalt, altered granodiorite, and transported deposit in Latah County, Idaho, was investigated in order to determine if flocculation behavior would be aid in characterizing clay samples in way that could be related to origin and history of clays; clay minerals are of kaolinite group; flocculation behavior varied widely.
