A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Principles of cold working and its application to fabrication of hollow-flange beams; light weight I-beam made currently in standard lengths of 12.5 to 25 m and fabricated from cold-formed hollow flanges welded to cold-worked steel strip web shows very high stability; other prefabricated elements, such as roof-, ceiling-, and wall-framework components and panels, as well as their use in residential, office, and industrial buildings are discussed.
