Use of Perlit precast concrete slabs in construction
Fabrication of light weight Perlit concrete wall, floor and partition panels; wall and floor slabs are 20 cm thick and consist of 3 cm thick reinforced concrete plate covered with 17 cm thick Perlit concrete layer; construction of multistoried buildings is described; compared with standard reinforced concrete frame construction, use of Perlit panels gave 38% saving in weight of structural members.
