Water-leakage test for window sections
Increased use of glass and curtain walls in buildings requires improved performance for joints in windows and in curtain wall constructions; advantages and limitations of various test methods, including disadvantages that they are generally performed on full-size specimens, are discussed; to overcome disadvantages, water leakage test apparatus was developed for testing short sections of joints rather than fully assembled, full size windows and curtain walls, and this is described.
