Checking and delamination in Glulam bridge members
Field inspection of 57 bridges with members of glued laminated structural timber; bridges surveyed were built from 1944 to 1961 in locations ranging from Alaska to New Mexico and from Vancouver Island to Massachusetts; glulam members consisted mainly of straight simple beams (up to 100 ft in length) with some arch members and some truss members.
