In studies made by author, it was found that some fly ashes possess enough cementitious qualities to be useful in strengthening soils; since fly ash is waste material which is obtainable at low price, possibilities of using cementitious fly ashes in preparation of steamed, sand-fly ash, building bricks were investigated; analyses of fly ashes selected are shown in table; dune and concrete sands were used; brickmaking procedure and tests are reported.
