Shear strength of slender continuous reinforced concrete tbeams
Uniform load tests to failure of 4 unusually slender continuous T-beams subjected to uniform loading over span of 44 ft 5 in.; shear reinforcement was varied from zero to amount required by design equations to develop full flexural ultimate strength; for all test beams, shear stress at ultimate strength was in agreement with computed values.
