Ground-water flow in relation to flooding stream
Quantitative data on ground water flow during storm runoff periods based on model measurements; idealized hydrographs and aquifers were studied in Hele-Shaw viscous fluid model; results of model analogy are interpreted in terms of bank storage volume and distribution, and magnitude and time distribution of ground water flow. (see also Am Geophysical Union -- Trans v 35 n 6 pt 1 Dec 1954 p 905-16)
