Concrete replaces wood H-frames
Florida Power Corp has installed precast, prestressed concrete towers as test study in 9-mi section of 110-kv transmission line; tower is H-frame, with two 75-ft tall poles, 39-ft cross arm, V-braces and steel angle cross bracing below cross arm. (See also Elec World v 147 n 2 Jan 14 1957 p 64-6)
