Precast concrete roof and floor slabs for 3-story dormitory building at Wingate Junior College, NC were lifted and supported on concrete columns; when slabs were lifted into position, connection was obtained by inserting steel keys into column holes and extending them into slab collar on both sides of column to support floor slabs.
